Greetings from AIPTF
We convey our sincere appreciation and your support in participating in National Executive Meeting held on 17 July 2022 at New Delhi. There issues related to teachers and education scenario in the country especially in Post COVID phase was discussed in the meeting. As you all are aware that our agitation for the Revival of Old Pension Scheme and other national demands suffered due to COVID.
However, we are happy to share partial success in this matter especially three states namely Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan governments declaring the old pension scheme for their employees. The share in contribution was raised to 14% from 10%. Provisions of 50% Family pension as per old pension scheme in case of death of teacher/employee who is covered under New Pension scheme. This gives us hope and encouragement to fight with solidarity once again. A Committee consisting of different states leaders decided the following action plan for agitation:

Signature Campaign in states
All states are requested to collect as many signatures as possible by 25 August 2022.

Submission of Memorandum to the Prime Minister/President
All State leaders are requested to submit the Memorandum with collected signatures by post or mail to the President/Prime Minister address. We are providing you the address for your information.

You are requested to communicate the date to AIPTF office so that Office-Bearer from neighbouring state can attend the dharna.

One day National Level Dharna at New Delhi
This will be held before the budget session
You are requested to follow these instructions and keep updating AIPTF office regarding the action taken by your state so reporting and future action can be shared with other states.
